Forbidden? Flower?! How it can save our planet

On Earth there is a special plant, a multi-cluster that can save our planet, Cannabis. Cannabis has come off badly around the world and in most countries it is illegal. We will leave its amazing healing abilities aside today, while body and mind health are important, cannabis has a lot more to offer than that, it can help us solve many problems.

How can cannabis help us?

Cannabis has many species, but today we will talk about Hemp. Hemp has many fibers and has lower concentrations of THC. With these fibers we can make more than 25,000 different products. Hemp requires a small amount of water, it can be grown in almost all types of climate and does not require pesticides.

Hemp can replace almost all the raw materials we use.

We will start with replacing trees with Hemp. In order to use a tree, it needs to grow for at least 15 years, however hemp only needs 90-120 days to be good for use. In addition we can produce more in a smaller area, one acre of hemp equals four acres of trees. Hemp wood is stronger by 20%. From hemp we can produce everything that trees can, from paper to a house.

If we have already mentioned a house, hemp can produce building materials, sealants, blocks, concrete and in-house products.

Hemp can produce better fabrics and more efficiently than cotton. For every 20 liters of water that cotton consumes, hemp requires only one liter. Hemp also grows faster, requires less space and doesn’t need pesticides, so it is actually healthier for our skin. The fabric is not destroyed by washing and has strong fibers. Hemp also contributes to the soil and enriches it for future growth compared to cotton that pollutes the water and leaves the soil scorched.

Hemp can be used to produce bio-plastic that is biodegradable in six months and is non-toxic.

Beyond plastic, hemp can also create biofuel. The bio-diesel is made from hemp seed oil, ethanol/methanol is made from the fermented stem. Bio-diesel doesn’t require engine modification and works properly in any standard diesel engine. Bio-diesel has been tried and proven to be reliable. When it burns it releases a pleasant smell of hemp, popcorn or chips. It complies with clean air laws and regulation, contains about 11 percent of clean oxygen and doesn’t contain sulfur at all. Using bio-diesel can even extend engine life. 

Hemp has many benefits. Its use is effective, cheap, fast and sustainable. In addition to everything I mentioned earlier, with hemp we can also make cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, oils, dietary fiber, food and more…
